My name is Milos Arifovic and this is The City Gentleman, a men‘s lifestyle blog.
This blog is also my journey of becoming a better man.
If you are interested in my story and why I started this blog, stay awhile and listen.
It all started three years ago, when I was a different person, who was struggling with a LOT of personal issues. I was morbidly obese and had low self esteem problem. Because of that and some other things I was stuck in life and had no idea what to do next.
After graduating college, I took an interest in men‘s fashion. I started to read books, listened to podcasts, and watched videos. This interest soon became a passion that also gave me the nudge that I needed to start fixing my life. It took some time and a lot of hard work but I managed to lose over 60 pounds, and get my life back on track.
Unfortunately, in that time I had to learn the hard way that the way you dress, your grooming habits and even your body build affect the way other people perceive you and it affects your confidence a lot more.
Take it from me it is never too late to improve yourself and give your life a new and better direction. That is why I created this blog to post useful tips and guides on dressing well, personal grooming, personal development and men’s lifestyle in general.
This blog will also feature a food section which will feature recipes that I made and general cooking tips. I am not a professional cook, far from it, I am just a guy how know how to prepare a nice home-cooked meal for himself. Cooking is an essential skill that every man should know and this part of my blog is a call to action for my readers to master this skill which will give you a new level of control over what you eat.
This is a bilingual blog which means that I will upload articles in English and Serbian two times a week, every Tuesday and Friday.
The first couple of months will be a sort of testing period to see how many people are interested in what I have to say. If people are interested then I will post even more articles and will invest more fund so that this site becomes even better.
If all of this sounds interesting to you, consider following me on social media and subscribing to the newsletter to stay informed.
